StarFest was pretty fun... And I'm surprised it took me so long to make an entry about it. <3

Kellie and her mom saved me from Roxborough late Friday night and I stayed at her place... so we could go to the hotel in the morning. Which was a great idea because Roxborough got hit harder with the snow than Lakewood.

So.... I guess pictures are in order. But first... the story of the girl that walked by me at least 7 times on Saturday and stared the entire time. :| I don't know who she is or anything.. she looked a little familiar, but I'm fairly certain I don't know her. (Also, she was hanging out with Sarah [Princess] from Renn Faire part of the time.. and augh...) But seriously.... she stared at me as she walked by EACH time. -_- It got old really quick.

It seemed like a good idea, and it'll help me stay on track these next few weeks. So, I'm listing what needs to be done on costumes and all that jazz. I can't even begin to fathom next years costumes... and as my icon says: Everything changes. XD;

Mawata:
*Color wig
*Style wig
*Find yellow scarf
*Get blue blouse
*Make pink skirt
*Get knee high socks

Princess Kraehe:
*Cut out fabric
*Make leotard
*Make dress
*Add trim to the bottom
*Make underlayer of tutu

And last, but not least: Figure out 3rd NDK costume.... Any suggestions? :O

This year I've been busy!

Last month I helped snowhite_dahlia hide a body (-173 points). In April I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In October I turned enginoshouzoku in for farting in church (3 points). In September I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). In August I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points).

Overall, I've been nice (149 points). For Christmas I deserve a shiny red ball!

I'll include the ones with the CUTE little girls under this cut... Because there's a sugary story to go along with them.. :D

In the middle of the photoshoot, these two ADORABLE girls came up to me... The older one said "Go on, tell her..." The younger one looks up at me and says, "You have a really pretty dress, princess," in a really meek little voice. I just about melted from how cute she was... Apparantly, Laura was snapping pictures of me while I was doing this...

The girls are just about to leave and the older one says, "come on, katherine, let's go"... and I thought it was so cute that she and I shared a name, so I was like "Your name's Kathrerine? My name's Kathrynne too!" The little girl was so amazed and excited that she shared a name with me... <3 It was so cute! (I could hear Asher, Laura, Arlet and Koi all talking about the cuteness of it all and how my name has a bajillion letters in it... xD)

So, while I'm still talking to Katherine, and her sister Jennifer (or was it Jessica? o.o) (they told me and now I can't remember), Laura came up and asked her if she wanted a picture with me... :D She agreed, so I sat down and she sat on my lap... sorta... and.. voila! Picture!

That's my cute story of the day... :D

Being sick really sucks.. especially at school. -_-;; My brain was jello in English this morning... and we were supposed to be debating. Yeah.. that sucked. And now, my stomach's growling and stuff... But I'm afraid to eat/nothing sounds good. This is totally not cool. I feel shitty, therefore, I'm sure, I look shitty. @__@ BLAH.

Tonight, when I get home, I get an hour to laze about and do nothing... Then this lady from Mary Kay is coming over around 5 and giving me a free "extreme makeover" or whatever... It should be fun... I'll get all prettied up... not like I'm doing anything tonight anyways. She said it'll take about an hour and a half, or something like that. *le sigh* I just hope I start feeling better soon. This is not fun at all...

Tomorrow I have to work. Yay. *sarcasm* I'm so excited. Then Thursday, not only do I have school, but I have to go to work RIGHT after. But... we're going to a gay club that night, so that should make up for the crappy day. xD; And then Friday, I get to see my father around 11... My father who promised to pay for my college and promised to buy me a laptop (a year ago)... and hasn't. Yes, that same shitty father that I've had for my entire life. I guess I might be bitter about it more than usual because I just had to lend my mom another $150 yesterday.

Sorry this entry is so whiney and complain-y... @__@

Interesting day so far... I can't spend too long updating as I have to meet my friends in the cafeteria before class... But it started off normally... I'd woken up and printed off a paper that I wrote at the last minute for a class. Nothing new there. ^.~

On the way to school I saw a real for life hooker... @__@ At 9 fricking AM.... on a back road behind King Sooper's, in one of the nicer parts of town. xD; My grandma and I stopped talking and stared as we drove past her, just going "wow... o.o".... Tall leather boots, a leather mini skirt, leather corset under a leather coat... Her hair frizzy and wearing black tights...

It was funny.

And then lunch... oh god, lunch. -_-; It's normally fine... but some really annoying girls were in the cafeteria today... They were so gross. -_- Burping loudly, laughing way too hard at something another would say, then talking about other people rudely. It's people like that that make me wish there were more intelligent people in the world. GOD they were annoying.

I want to get paid, NOW... I found a flower troupe Elisabeth VHS on Ebay... ;-; I want some Sumire yummy-ness to watch whenever I want... mmm... Sumire...

And I want to buy my plane ticket to AX... $150 is CHEAP for roundtrip... and I don't want to lose the oppurtuniy.

I didn't have to go to English today cause we were doing workshops on our essays, and I did mine on Thursday. So.... my first class today doesn't start til 1 pm. :) I have Psych, then History.... Today I'm going to chaperone my sister's birthday party... She invited three friends, me, my brother and cousin to see Harry Potter with her. While I love Harry Potter... I can only see the movie so many times.. @__@ I might get a good nap in. xD;;

Ummmm...... other than that, not much is up. @__@ I start school tomorrow and I'm scared shit-less... but we'll see how that goes. ^^; I'll make a more coherent/important post later.. ^.^;

Arlet tagged me.. xD; I dunnooooooooo... there aren't many random/weird/strange things about me. But thanks Arlet! ^.^ I rarely get tagged on these things. Prolly cause even if I am, I never really do them. lol!

1) I was born in Plano, Texas and didn't move up to Colorado until 4th grade.
2) I'm an amatateur bellydancer.
3) When I was little, I never idolized actors and actresses. I remember, starting late 2nd grade, I idolized Martin Luther King Jr. I even had my mom buy several books about him on book order. I had the first half of his speech memorized too. o.o;
4) I escape reality through cosplay, reading, writing, drawing and singing. Quite often. I don't like living my own life.
5) Off and on this past year, I've been dealing with depression. Not extremely serious, nothing clinically wrong, I don't think. I just get into a really bad rut and unable to get back up for a while. The longest and most recent having been nearly the entire month of October.

I don't know who to tag.... I think I'll keep it an open tag. :)

Well, friday Arlet and I dropped off Meg and Laura's presents to them... ^^;;; That was fun. They ended up piling my arms with VHS' of Sera Myu as we were getting ready to leave... So today Arlet and I munched on coconut dumplings and watched one of them after a long day of shopping. ^.^;

Anyhoo! This morning I sent out Asher's and Zel's gifts by UPS... meaning... they should be in Missouri and Illinois (respectively) by Thursday~* <3

Umm... This entry is pointless... So I'd like to end it by saying what I had for breakfast... Then... I didn't have anything. But I did have Subway for lunch, so that counts since it was my first meal of the day. ^.~

Well.. I know Heather wanted pictures of my hair color, so I'll put some pictures of those up... And also, I wanna put pictures of my puppies up because I love them so~* But first, a tiny update. ^.^

I'm almost all better... Just stuffy nose and ears, then I'll be rid of this accursed cold... lol. ^.^ But because I've been sick, I haven't worked on the scarf all that much. ;-; I hope to send it out on friday. Hopefully overnight it or something... ^^; Today I went to my brother's basketball game in Colorado Springs. That was... fun... ^^; My mom and I almost got lost.. It was so funny, though, because all the kids who went to that school (or the ones I saw, I should say... I won't generalize like that) were trying so hard to be "gangsta" or "thugs"... xD; It was actually really funny. My brother's team won, which is good. I'm proud. ^.^

Ummm... I think that's all. I do have work tomorrow... and Thursday... Then hopefully on Friday I can get together with my friend Stacey and put some balloons and stuff in Eva's room for when she gets back in the country. And Arlet and I will be dropping off Meg and Laura's gifts.

Koi: If you're reading this, I don't like sending gifts in the mail... Will you be home sometime this week for me to drop it off?

Honestly. What did I do to deserve this? I go a few years without being sick, nothing more than a stuffy nose or cough.... And then I got the flu last week for an entire week. Yesterday I was finally better. Everything was gone! Even that stupid headache!

I wake up this morning with a sore throat, stuffy nose and clogged ears. I have a cold. Wonderful. Bloody wonderful.

So I went to work for the first sunday since the end of October. Fine. sundays are slow and the people are nice. Ronny was there ALL day long. We close at 2. Fine. I'm supposed to be out of there by three. But Ronny was still baking. I didn't get out of there til 3:45.

Right now I'm not a happy camper. I'm just trying to cool down by knitting and... flipping through TV stations. I can't seem to decide on anything to watch. *sigh* Oh well. ^.^;

I'll honestly be fine, I'm just upset that I got sick twice in such a small amount of time. I'm gonna go buy more Pomegranite juice tomorrow. Oh! And tomorrow, I'm gonna buy my hair dye again... the red has faded and I'm missing it very much. I was used to being a red head, I don't want to be blonde again. ^^; (Not yet anyways.) I'll be thoroughly upset if the dye decides to be the right color... lol. I rather like the nice red it gave my hair... ^^;
